A few weeks ago, I had the best day celebrating my PhD graduation at Cardiff University with some of my favourite people. It was really special to be back amongst friends, supervisors and colleagues, and the sun even came out!

Thank you to @cardiffuni.bsky.social for hosting an excellent event! ❤️

Great two days at the @divhealthpsych.bsky.social conference in Cardiff, sharing our CRUK-funded co-production project. Brilliant discussion on cancer screening inequalities and community involvement. Thanks to @universityofleeds.bsky.social for the grant, and the BENE-FIT team for your hard work!

Excited to share our new paper on the feasibility of wearable technology for detecting cardiac arrhythmias in X-linked ichthyosis. This promising approach could help manage risk in susceptible individuals, and our study showed high participant engagement and acceptability.

As a very late adopter/moved to Bluesky, I thought it only right to introduce myself!

Some important facts: Research Fellow at Leeds in cancer screening behaviour, PhD viva survivor as of December, and a big fan of coffee and cake!
Cisgender woman wearing a pink jumper, sat in front of a decorated Christmas tree. Holding a PhD thesis. A large black sign outside a grey concrete building. The sign reads “University of Leeds” White marble table with two cups of coffee, two pastries on plates and a set of playing cards. A cisgender white woman with brown hair in a ponytail. Standing in front of a sign hung from the ceiling that reads “Applied Psychology Research Unit”.
