2015 I crossed the red carpet at the Hoka highland fling in 10th place.

I hit the podium at 100 miles (3rd) and won a 10k (37:11) also in 2015.

Nearly 10 years ago now.

I look back with a smile & actually astonished I actually done all that.

1. NEVER GO BACK to the people, places or situations that destroyed your inner peace or soul

2. BE YOURSELF because everyone else is already taken

3. HAVE A PLAN for your life, because nobody else will

If you truly knew how hard it was, and how long it took some people to recover their peace, mental health, and happiness, you would understand why they shut their doors at the slightest scent of toxic behaviour– and why they're picky as fuck about who they let into their lives 👍
