Hey fellas my unironic intro is that I'm a Graphics/Rendering Engineer at Riot Games that also does a lot of personal-work on stuff like Emulators and Adobe After Effects Plugins and Reverse Engineering and Game Modding stuff and sometimes I do art and videos on the side too

I wanna try an OLED monitor, coming from a 5+ year old IPS monitor(ROG-PG279Q), but hearing about OLED burn-in and having to do pixel-refreshing/cleaning cycles and such sounds like such a downgrade compared to just buying a monitor and not having to babysit it.

Went to recycle a bunch of old tech at an e-waste center and the place was a goldmine of cool tech up to grabs. Even some new un-opened stuff for cheap!

AMX instructions could kinda maybe be useful for really big mem{set,cpy} operations. Apple-AMX can write 256 bytes with just one instruction while Intel-AMX can write 1KiB of data with one instruction. But I don't think anyone needs a Gigabytes-per-second mem{set,cpy} lol
