Hey fellas my unironic intro is that I'm a Graphics/Rendering Engineer at Riot Games that also does a lot of personal-work on stuff like Emulators and Adobe After Effects Plugins and Reverse Engineering and Game Modding stuff and sometimes I do art and videos on the side too

`[[assume]]` is pretty useful for optimization hints. Most compilers are still pretty rough at handling function-call assumptions like `[[assume(func(x) == true)]]` but it handles simpler expressions pretty well like assuming a number is a power-of-two:

They should pretty much always be opened in a clean-room environment only if you're doing physical data-recovery stuff like that. So I wouldn't ever open a drive at home like this if you're doing work in there! Just the dust in a typical bedroom is enough to compromise the surface of the platter.

Oh I already recovered the data off of the drive so this is just me getting the fun magnets out(and i guess guarantee that nothing personal can be recovered off of it now that the platters are exposed to open-air) before I send it to get recycled!

A disassembled hard drive with the read/write head detached, the PCB removed, the cover, and the neodymium drivers removed. A phone with a Pokémon Ring-Grip is in the reflection of the hard drive platters.

I could def go with less subscriptions in my life lol. I just got Xbox and Nintendo's minimum sub-things and also FFXIV at the moment and could be getting a lot more value just buying individual games and paying for subs for the months I actually use their online services.

What RISC-V chip are you all deving on?
I thought RISC -V was still in the SoC struggle-years like ARM64 had back in the day but I'm seeing and hearing about it so much more these days as if it's on store shelves or something.

oof those new GamePass prices are rough..
I realize I don't _really_ take advantage of GamePass enough to justify the monthly subscription anyways and I could be putting that money towards the 4 or 5 big games I buy a year.

The 3.5 was in my computer, I took it out and put the 2.5 in my computer, and the "broken" 3.5 is in the enclosure for a bit to try and recovery some data off of it before I fully get rid of it. Enclosure is new.

Bluesky broke the picture but it should show if you open it fully!
I'm replacing the original 3.5 drive with a 2.5 SSD! The enclosure works with both drives.
