Working hard with @Levi_Borovychok on her amazing project. She is opening a centre for Polish & Ukrainian youth, here in Warsaw. We need funding ideas and yes I will be running history & culture seminars/workshops.
It is a great way to help young Polish & Ukrainian youth!!

She is buried in Powązki Military Cemetery, and when I tour guide there, I make sure to take my guests to see her grave and lay flowers. She is and always will be remembered.

In a letter my grandfather wrote to his father, the General, he states that she is still alive because his friend saw her a few days before capitulation.
But she must have died not long after seeing this friend.

My great-grandmother worked at the Elizabethan Sisters Hospital in Mokotów as a nurse & messenger & she died a few streets away.

Till the late 1940's my family believed she was still alive.

#OTD in 1944, during the #WarsawUprising, my beautiful great-grandmother, Zofia Langner, codename "Złomir" was killed during the bombing of Mokotów. The district was heavily targeted by the Luftwaffe and German heavy artillery because Mokotów was one of the last districts to fall.

P.S. I had to have the appointments at the other side of Warsaw, and it was faster and easier to ride.

1. Do not turn up to your doctors appointments on the motorbike if you don't want to be yelled at......

2. Do not go to the parcel lockers on the same motorbike and be faced with this problem as the picture below......
