what truly did it for me was looking at my metrics from before my ex boss got my twitch almost banned to the last stream I did there, I lost so many viewers there simply for just having to fight twitch to get my channel back for a week, before I was at around 20-30, after? I'm lucky if I get even 5

oddly enough @cenny.bsky.social is the one who got me into using it first as a simple viewer for years and now a fellow streamer there

yeah joystick is a literal refuge for those who got tired of streaming on sites like twitch and kick and you don't even need to be a lewd streamer to make it over there neither there is many sfw streamers over there

and on top of that, I only just started a lil over a week ago and already managed to bank close to 40 bucks and get almost 100 followers purely from just having fun and being myself, it's freeing af compared to twitch

twitch due to policy changes making it hard as hell for smaller streamers to even be found made streaming over there a full time job for me to just maintain viewers, joystick on the other hand I'm having fun and it doesn't feel like actual work to maintain my viewership

Don't want to cause any issues but, tbf, I may be a furry streamer but I was a streamer before I became a furry, I actually moved from twitch and kick to just streaming on joystick due to joystick being a better platform overall and I'm actually now having fun streaming and feel reinvigorated
