My dad roasts his own coffee beans (they're gross btw) and somehow him roasting the beans in the kitchen keeps setting off the smoke alarm on the third floor where my room is. But the smoke alarm will beep and then stop, and then start again, and it's random so I can't even get up to turn it off.
