the lyrics are slightly less awkward in Italian as "heartbeats" is "palpiti" (u kno leik "palpitation") and heart is "cor" (u kno leik "coronary") so it's not quite so redundant to put the two words so close together. i couldda gone less literal in my translation but whaaaaatever
