![This photo is an initial photo of the dog house when we first put it up for him on Sept 13th, the mat is a litter mat which we placed in there to help trap dirt and debris.
We were unsure if he would use it or the toy, but the toy served as a marker for whether the bed had been used or not.

![This photo was taken on October 1st, until this point the mouse had remained unmoved (we checked the house every morning)
On this day - my partner had gone outside to give Chai fresh water only a hour and a half before I fed him, when my partner checked the house the mouse had not been moved from the initial photo however when I checked it an hour and a half later we discovered that the mouse had in fact moved during that time! (Chai was the only thing on the porch during this period of time)

![This photo was taken on October 6th, we had a pretty nasty storm overnight which normally as a result I don't see Chai for 12-24 hours, and expected as much this morning when I didn't initially see him from the window, however to my surprise he was sitting waiting for me once I opened the door and dry as a bone!
After going about our normal routine, I checked the dog house as I normally do and was excited to see the mouse had once again moved!
