There's a saying in Spanish that goes, "Al que madruga, Dios le ayuda", meaning, "God helps those who wake up early". I hate that it's true. It sucks to wake up before dawn, but everything works like a charm at that hour 🥲

First day was amazing! The con takes place at the castle grounds of Arcen in the Netherlands, a gorgeous place. It was incredibly hot and I almost died of dehydration, but it was worth it. Can't wait for tomorrow (when it's gonna be colder!)

I'm not about to sell all my crafting supplies and cosplays, but I am seriously considering selling my tickets to a con with which I had been dreaming for months, and not attending more in 2025. It's the first time I feel like this in 11 years of this hobby. My interest went out like a blown candle!

I had a depression crisis at the end of July, from which I fortunately recovered quickly with the support of my family, friends and health professionals. Since then, however, my drive to cosplay is completely gone. Peculiar! And I'm not sad or frustrated about it, which only makes it more intriguing

My flatmate and I are used to daily maintenance cleaning, so the flat is generally in good condition. I haven't had to fight deep stains or found mold or anything like that, it's just a matter of getting into the forgotten corners and the top of high shelves. Still, I'm 😵‍💫

My parents visit in a week, which has prompted me to deep clean my flat, I don't know if to impress them or to avoid their judgement (either is all in my head, I don't think they care that much). All that to say that deep cleaning is EXHAUSTING, much respect for those who do it for a living.
