03: Squirrel Cookies

I recently learned that these cookies are called 'swirl' cookies not 'squirrel' cookies.
This still doesn't explain why the New Horizons' squirrel villager, Cally is not named Cookie since her tail look like a swirl cookie!

Chrysanthemum Stream

There's a legend where if you drink from a stream where the chrysanthemum petals fell you would be blessed with longevity. One of the reasons September is known as known as 長月 (Nagatsuki) or long month in addition to the longer nights.

I think one of my favorite perspectives is this exaggerated up shot especially for drawing shoes. Whenever I want to draw someone kinda cool looking I think of this angle.

Ahh I see, that means a lot you thought it was for the show. 🧡
This was a fan animation I started before the pilot was released and they shared a fairly tied-down turnaround for Freckle.
The idea was running in my head while on another project and has been on-and-off.
