Why is LCC Winter trying to confuse me? I bought a David Tennant talk ticket, and the current schedule still shows that. But now on Eventbrite there's only a more expensive Double Doctor ticket on offer that's David and Sylvester. Are there two after hours talks? Or is my ticket now invalid? 🤦♀️

Off to The Choir of Man again, I shall miss this show so much when the Arts Theatre shuts for a refurb. In the meantime, my favourite, Sam, is on as The Romantic again tonight. 🎉

Had a brilliant time seeing Wendy & Peter Pan at the Barbican last night. The sets were incredible, a whole ass pirate ship with plank on stage! Toby Stephens was having a ball chewing the scenery as Captain Hook. And Dan Krikler was born to be Peter Pan, so good at flying and sword fighting. 1/2

I missed out on seeing Hot Mess in Edinburgh because the storm shut the venue down. I'm booked to see it in London today and we have weather warnings for wind and rain. It's beginning to feel a bit cursed!! 🌬☔️

Saw Bret McKenzie live last night which was a lot of fun, but the venue had SIX chandeliers! Now that's overkill!!

Well, Minnie Driver was really rather awesome in Every Brilliant Thing. A serious subject, but dealt with in a way that involved humour, joy, and a lot of audience participation. I did a proper double take when At Last was one of the songs used though. 🤦♀️

And suddenly I am in my feels about another of my forever fandoms. Now, if we're talking (really) old guys, Highlander certainly delivers! And yes, I remain a Methos appreciator.
I am forcing my friend, whose mom was in Highlander fandom and wrote Highlander fanfic back in the day, to explain Highlander to me. I will be updating this thread with my findings.

I love seeing all these new people being fundamentally changed by the experience of seeing Rhys do his stand up live. He really is the gift that keeps on giving!!
