Rejoice, sophont observers, for a new original story is upon us: "Baron Quits The Payloaders" by @renanbernardo.com. Because while space is mostly emptiness, a lot of what isn't emptiness is !!ROCK!!
Escape Pod 1019: Baron Quits The Payloaders
This story starts with a gig. Half a million people from all corners of the galaxy, hands in the air, heads banging to our vibrant noise. You probably saw the venue on some feed already.

Ahem, for what it's worth. I've seen some people get so jumpy about Bluesky. This place greeted many millions of users in a short time, including bots and scammers. So they might moof with countermeasures here and there, on a better safe than sorry basis until case review? It's a process IMHO 🌸⏳

Covid booster today. I'm forever surprised how casual our pharmacists here sound about it now, even though I'm a recommended target for it due to my health. Also, unlike the flu vaxx (I get a reminder every year), I need to be entirely proactive on my own. What the ?? Ah well, all done 👍☺️

- BAEN short stories, year 2016
- Murder at midnight / Murder in mind by Faith Martin
- The calculating stars / The fated sky by Mary Robinette Kowal

I only have very good things to say about it all 😍 Special mention to BAEN for making older stories' collections freely available, so much goodness ☺️
