Advocating for young people unjustly deprived of education and freedom.
On the night of July 15, the cadets of the Air Force Academy did not know what they were being drawn into.
The process that began with the blue buses arriving at the Yalova training camp turned into a chaos beyond the control of young lives.

The voice of innocence cannot be silenced.
For 9 years, Şüheda Sena Öğütalan has been deprived of her freedom, her family, and her youth.
Her story is not just that of one student — it is the story of hundreds of cadets still seeking justice.

On July 15, 2016, during the attempted coup in Turkey, many Turkish military cadets and conscripted privates — the lowest-ranking personnel with no authority to give orders — were sent into chaos without knowing what was happening.

9 years of silence…
These young cadets were only 18 when imprisoned — still waiting for justice.
Be their voice. Don’t stay silent in the face of injustice.

🔁 Share their story.
🕊️ It’s time for justice to be heard.

We stand with those still waiting in Silivri, Sincan, and Bakırköy.

Who are the 'privates' we stand for?
April 25, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Since 2016, hundreds of Turkish military cadets —some just 18— have been imprisoned for life.
They had no part in the coup, no knowledge of what was unfolding that night.
They were scapegoated.
They are still behind bars.

If university students are silenced today, none of us will be able to speak tomorrow.

University students raise their voices not only for themselves but also for the conscience of the whole society.

Silencing them means silencing everyone.
