In this forced interpretation, she absorbed the soul of a night elf demon hunter, which made that "half" synthetic, resulting in a mixed appearance.
But these are just "plot crutches" I'd like to get rid of.

Thank you, other half is Night Elf by gameplay reasons only. Should be just Zandalari Demon Hunter.

☝️🤓 Zandalari Demon Hunters were in lore, but to make it work - it should be fully separated from the elven demon hunters concept!
