I really like the game overall, so I don't want to just stop playing, but having to play extremely well constantly is draining. Maybe I need a mindset shift or something.

It genuinely feels like if I'm not at the top of my game, I'll immediately get ran over. I feel like I don't need to try half as hard when I'm playing, say, Street Fighter 6, Strive or even Tekken 8.

The more I play Rivals 2, the more apparent it feels how much I have to sweat to keep up, at least at higher levels.

Granted, it's a fighting game and this is what it usually boils down to but it feels exaggerated with Rivals 2.
