I read Eviction a few years ago and that book made a massive impression on me. It’s horrible that we have so many poor people and that we make it nearly impossible to get out of poverty. We have chosen to keep this system in place.

I imagine Charles was able to get a lot of info from Andrew’s security. The security team works for the crown, not Andrew. I can’t imagine Charles would have done this if he did not have to. They must know a lot.

I don’t understand the anger people have towards those unwilling to vote for a candidate who won’t defend trans rights. Do these people really have no line? Will they vote for a KKK member? A good candidate understands protecting all rights protects us all.

This is not correct. Trump does NOT have a choice. SNAP has an emergency fund that was approved by congress. Trump is ILLEGALLY withholding money.

Yes. I do think there are decent Dems, but leadership (and many big $ donors) is conservative and old school. That’s not what voters want, and I think it’s a big factor in why we are where we are. I hope the report writers are ignored.

Doesn’t seem very hopeful when republicans are still lying to the public about why this is happening and who has the power to stop it. Republicans shut the government down because they want people to die.

It’s like those “heartwarming” go fund me stories about raising money for a kid with cancer. That should never be a need. We have chosen that parents have to deal with a sick kid AND fund raise. We choose this. Our government has chosen where to spend money and where not to spend money.

Don’t they notice who gets attention and who doesn’t? No one talks about manchin or sinema. People are excited about people like aoc and mamdani. Maybe Dems could actually get their base voters out
