As a warmup, you might want to start with something you've already read and enjoyed in English. Other than that, it's all relatively readable. I prefer the feel of his 12-syllable meter memre to the 7-syllable ones, but that's a matter of taste.

Just finished reading @younan.bsky.social’s translation of Narsai. I had never read any Narsai before, and I was blown away! (I especially loved Memra 21: On the Temptation of Christ and Memra 44: On the New Creation.) Makes we want to try to tackle some Narsai in Syriac now!
