ECO is dead. It's easier to try to rebuild public trust in fuel poverty and energy efficiency schemes when you burn the previous government's policy down rather than tinker with it. It is, however, harder to keep supply chains going and the industry's capacity to be there and rebuild it with you.
Today’s Budget is sending mixed signals on electrification. More should be done to help low-carbon innovators compete and this means doing more to address the excessive ‘spark gap.’
