Breaking in Brooks Ghost 17 running shoes. I returned the Nike Pegasus because I was getting glute soreness on one side and achilles soreness on the other. These so far feel more comfortable.

Just got an Apple Watch SE 3 mostly for tracking fitness, first watch I’ve owned in over 20 yrs. One thing I learned right away was to have watch on tight for workouts otherwise it might pause if sensor loses connection with your wrist. So a 14 mi run became a 12.28 mi run according to watch.

Nice second run in the Nike Pegasus. They aren’t as responsive as my other shoes as I feel they work my leg muscles and glutes more which is a perfect complement to my other shoes. They also keep pushing me forward like I’m going too slow.

There are scientific reasons why you run faster in cooler weather like your body needing more energy to combat heat and keep you alive thus taking energy away from your muscles for performance. But, I like to think that it's cold as heck and just want to get home faster.
