A poem titled Passed. It's written in dark grey Times New Roman on an ashy background. Each sentence is broken into two lines, and each stanza is four lines. There is no punctuation other than periods, even when needed. It reads as follows:

Just as I laid out
the sun was hidden away.
Nothing to do
but lie in the shade.

I could face the blue
beneath the dim.
I gaze at the sky
you glide overhead.

Eagle or vulture
paper wings dry.
Riding the wind
towards the treeline.

Down there where
the clearing grows.
The dump piles high
with shoe box homes.

The trees where you rose
or would come to leave.
They cut them down
before I could see.

Shrunken black star
a hole poked in the moment.
I blink and I lose you
regardless you've found it.

A prose poem titled Aries and Helle. It's written in dark grey Times New Roman on a warm ashy background. The entire poem is one stanza, except for the last line, which is spaced far beneath the rest, taking inspiration from concrete poetry. It reads as follows:

"This patch of grass becomes a sinkhole as the shape of the monster clambers remorselessly up the tower, an intrepid obsidian eel with the peal scrap of my sister dangling from its mouth. Her soul hangs above her body like a glowing dove against the darkness. Its tail and her blood coil round the spire, twin ribbons which chase each other, wound round like gauze as it carries her into the sky. When it reaches the peak it bunches up there like a black vulture, then blistering eyes disrupt the spiny mound of its back, adding two more watchful moons to the night which do without thinking and dispel lives. At once the burning craters blink out and bring a sudden bursting. Fountains spray from either side of its face.

Brilliance the shade of ire, her body is dispersed as crimson stars, chiming as she pelts the earth."
