I hope people can become familiar with the concept of not putting all faith into a single service/platform again. It was ten years ago that Skype became inconvenient so people switched from using it. Even further back people manually opted to download and use other browsers than Internet Explorer.

the difference there is there isn't really anything that had the same convenience and accessibility that discord has, at least not to the same extent. if it ever does go down, i think it's going to leave a lot of groups split. there might not even just be *one* alternative

i really really wish mouse firmware was at the same level of customizability for the somewhat above-average joe as keyboards are. i haven't used a DPI button on a mouse intentionally for 8 years, please just let me reprogram it or something

i need ambidextrous mouse manufacturers to invent one that lets you switch mouse button input with a hardware switch similar to a DPI button
yes i know i would be the only person buying it. but i fuckin hate having to do it through system options all the time
