'Family Photo'

Finally got my last member of Fireteam Phlegethon all made up, so I knew I needed to do a group render. Super happy with how it turned out!

Just started getting back into Blender this year (and into the Halo Community) and am having fun learning the software. A big thanks goes out to The Halo Archive, without which I wouldn't be making scenes I like.

Veil, a Spartan from Halo, sits on a cliff on the right side of the image, her back to a rock wall. She holds a sniper rifle in her hands, ready to fire at a moments notice.

She overlooks a scene of a wrecked and half overturned Warhog below her. An Elite is closest to the camera near the bottom. It has an Energy Sword in it's right hand and is dragging a dead Marine by the head in the other hand as it walks towards the wreckage.

A Grunt ultra on the right side of the wreck is seen holding up a tablet and pointing to it, a second dead Marine at it's feet, a lit flare in hand as the body leans against the Warthog.

A second Grunt ultra can be seen on the left side as it tries to pull the last dead Marine from the back of the Warthog. Another lit flare can be seen below the hands of the Marine as the body hangs off the side.

A pair if Hunters take up the back of the image. One on the right is holding up the Warthog to prevent it from tipping back on its wheels, and the other stands on the left side of the screen, observing.

Four small standing lights glow with a soft purple light, and a small pile of gear is piled up in the middle of the screen, likely put there by the group as they searched through the wreckage. Weapons are scattered around as well.

In the image four spartans from Halo are walking down the hall. Spaced evenly down the hall, four Marines can be seen acting as guards, two on each side.

Two Elites, two Grunts, and two Hunters sit around a TV that they have hooked up an Xbox to and are playing split screen Halo 3. One Grunt and the Elite Ultra are sitting on a ratty couch that they've dragged in from somewhere as they play. The Elite Scout has gotten upset and is a about to throw his controller, while the other Grunt is trying to stop him.

The two Hunters are just chilling as they watch the game, their hands too big to utilize a small controller.

This image is in a first person view from the point of a Marine on the ground. They are firing their MA40 Assault Rifle at a Hunter as it starts to swing its arm down to crush them in its fury. On the bottom left side of the view another Hunter can be seen dead on the ground with needles from a Needler stuck into its flesh. Farther in the background a Spartan in white and teal armor can be seen throwing a Plasma Grenade towards the back of the still-alive Hunter, a Needler held in his other hand. The background of the left side of the image is taken up by a nearly destroyed building, and another Spartan can be seen on the top of it, readying a rock launcher if needed. The sky above is dominated by a Paris-class Frigate hovering in atmosphere over the city.

How about 4 of them? This is my OC group, Fireteam Phlegethon, who are specialized in operating in hazard zones. Ori is currently undergoing an update to MKVII armor, so his model is a little dated right now.

to put together because you just need the foam, a sharp knife, a marker and some cement glue (plus whatever paints you want to use).

You could see if there's a way to contact WexyLex, she did a great Skirmisher cosplay a few years ago (and took it to HCS Worlds) and see if she has any tutorials for at least the armor.

The armor is made out of EVA foam and those patterns (if you can get them) are really easy to follow and cheap-
