126 players?! You can feel the momentum building for Sorcery. It’s hard to believe that in 2025, this game doesn’t just exist, but it’s thriving. As a lifelong fan of “those other card games”, it’s incredible to see!

I recently had my first phone call with a fully AI agent. It worked to schedule an appointment, but I still feel strange about it days later.

I’m not sure if a disturbing transition is occurring or if I’m just slowly becoming an old man who is uncomfortable with change and new technology…

We were recently discussing our favorite card game artists at work and, of course, I brought up @magalivilleneuve.bsky.social. I pulled up some of my favorite art and don’t think I’ll ever get over her Lord of the Rings work back in the 2010’s. The way she captures light is just something else!!

I certainly didn’t have supporting comics books on my bingo card when Covenant started 18 years ago (or even one year ago!), but I love the direction Alpha Clash is moving!

I played in a 20-person, Star Wars Epic Duels team tournament today!! What a game!

Thoughts I had while driving home:

1. This game slaps
2. I wish there were more team tournaments in tabletop
3. Tabletop games bring the best people together
4. Root beer, still the GOAT of sodas
