Poster back on tour, this time to the European Drosophila Research Conference in Alicante! At 700 people by far the biggest conference I've attended and it was good to see some familiar faces all to talk about fruit flies! (I forgot to take a picture of my poster at the conference!)

I had a great time at the #embodrosophila course at the EMBL campus in Heidelberg learning all about Drosophila from the experts! Met lots of new people working on some very interesting science and can't wait to start applying some of it to my project!

Very happy to have won the (joint!) best poster overall award at the Faculty of Science PGR showcase for my poster on collective cell migration in the Drosophila embryonic midgut! Makes up for the hours of trying to figure out how to get everything aligned on Inkscape

I had a great time presenting my work as a poster for the first time at the Crick Institute in London as part of the Crick Beddington symposium this week. Lots of interesting discussion and insight!
