Introducing myself…

I’m Zainab, a Nigerian-Irish Journalist, Presenter, Author & Director based in Dublin, Ireland. I love quirky news, good memes, maximalist designs & film/book recommendations (the weirder, the better).
Last week I announced my new title ✨Looking for Aurora✨ is coming out May 2026! 🤗

It feels surreal to look back at how far things have come. Finishing a second novel while working is a challenge but it is rewarding. I can’t wait for you all to dive into this next chapter with me. 🎊

Aurora Kutti's life seems perfect: she's a beauty icon for her many followers.
But below the surface it’s a different story. All the glamour is scripted, and she’s not even sure she knows who she is anymore….

Loved hearing from @zainabboladale.bsky.social - representation in books is a matter close to my heart. I saw first hand when teaching how important it is to be seen in books. Books inspire and can help you feel like you belong.

This is easily one of my top reads this year. The Irish Leaving cert setting with themes of belonging and growing up.

My lady and I went to go see #SINNERS. It was a 10/10… no notes! I love that we’re having a vampire renaissance in TV & Cinema but I think what made this stand out was the intentionality of the story telling & the historical elements it draws from… oh & the music. FABULOUS !
