My new video essay pet peeve is when the video essayist completely gives up on giving a unique or complex description on why something old or socially antiquated makes them happy in a piece of media and just defaults to "X has soul" it drives me up a wall

does anyone have recommendations for a pixel art program that makes it easy to draw with/ trace over unscaled references? I want to play more with pixel animated effects and assets in 3d animations but my current workflow is way too inefficient for it

My most unpopular opinion is like 80% of the time you shouldn’t listen to fan feedback cuz it’s usually terrible. And this goes for all media. The average person has the reading comprehension of a 9th grader and no technical or artistic skills and shouldn’t be trusted in on artistic matters

my deeply held conspiracy theory is they have been putting less green skittles in each bag ever since they changed them back to being lime. the original flavor swap was to save money and ever since they reverted it to lime green has been the least represented color in bags as a cost cutting measure
