What may be most apparent in this speech is Trump's complete disregard for all of the world except the US and Europe, and his fear of what's happening to Western 'heritage.'

Madison's first draft of the #freespeech clause was more expansive:

"The people shall not be deprived or abridged of their right to speak, to write, or to publish their sentiments; and the freedom of the press, as one of the great bulwarks of liberty, shall be inviolable."

this does not say they should not accept it.

this says they will have to get used to it because ice has all the money and the support of Congress. And it is unwilling to listen to local officials and there is so far nothing the courts have done.
