this is one of the rare times that i compliment TSR overdrive, but i do appreciate how big's ears are animated here. probably the most expressive they've been in any piece of official sonic material, though i wish that they'd push the body language in his ears more frequently

i think there should be more art where big gets the shit beat out of him. we need more art of big struggling even despite his strength bc i know for sure that his ass does not have much combat prowess. he's lucky he has a fishing rod for long range attacks

this article is pretty misleading and makes it seem like iizuka is talking specifically about stuff like SATAM. however, iizuka's actual response is more broad and non-specific likely to avoid giving any actual answers on what characters they're actually considering to add to crossworlds

my new years resolution is to be kinder to myself so that i don't inadvertently sabotage myself on everything i do. with that said, it's hard not to feel like beating myself up especially on bad days when i feel like everything i've done is worthless. it's incredibly frustrating

i wish that i was more of a fan of these guys bc i would (probably) be more over the moon about this. still cool though i suppose
an interesting unused bit that pertains to both amy & big's stories in SA1 is that they were likely supposed to meet each other proper at one point before even sonic heroes. this is also further supported by the fact that she and big end up meeting during the SA1 arc in sonic X

100%'d lego island in one sitting, very charming game. i just wish that there was another one that took what this game did, expanded upon it, and made it feel more like an actual game than just an interactive experience with a small number of objectives

been thinking this over, but in terms of canon (or canon adjacent) big, i think the mafia don big story is the only time big has done a genuinely heroic deed mostly of his own volition without the others around (with the exception of cream, since she assists him here)

spent 8 hours playing dog's life (ps2) and i still haven't even finished it yet. i shockingly don't hate this game but god it is so weird and also tends to reaaally drag quite a bit
