also, i'd imagine that (assuming this leak is real) they chose big as aquaman over picks like marine and kitsunami bc every character that's been cast as a DC hero must also be the same gender as characters their roles and assigned outfits are based on
alleged leaks of dc x sonic figures dropped. listen i don't care if it technically fits him bc of fish or whatever, big looks like a fucking jackass in the aquaman suit. take that shit off right now

i know that the sonic community loves to do the whole ultra instinct shaggy level joke of "big is a deity and can solo the entire sonic-verse", but i do wonder if the idea that big has any association with spirits at all has ever crept into fan's subconscious -
okay so like... what IS the deal with all the spiritual stuff relating to big anyways? like, there is a very strange pattern with this character and getting involved with/or mentioning spirits.

sometimes it feels like i'm on the cusp of finding potential pieces of big's canon backstory and it freaks me the fuck out. it feels almost taboo to know anything about this dude's background given his entire existence seems to be intentionally shrouded in mystery
