here's a curious thing: the boomers that clutch their pearls about screen time? when you go to their houses, the TV is always on. asleep or awake. in front of it or not. The TV is ALWAYS on.

i have slowly been discovering that a lot of Westerners who love j-rock and k-pop are gigantic snobs about music that comes from anywhere else. Japanese rock bands are very often next level, i get it. but good music is everywhere.

I realize this is a hell of a thing to be saying on the internet but I am so. so. so over irony-pilled internet culture. It's not just irony-pilled any more, it's irony soaked, it's irony drenched, it's irony-philic and earnestness-phobic. And I am completely over it.
