#GameBoy limitations meant recreating Henning’s amazing Amiga Sprites would be a real challenge.
I ended up using two Sprites layered over each other and added 1% cute. (more detail in reply)

Happy birthday to Rogue64, one of the hidden games on Evercade and precursor to last year's Roguecraft DX! This 8-bit dungeon crawler is easy to pick up, hard to master and has great music. It first released for 8-bit home computer on this day in 2022.

The good old Amiga1200 with a Commodore 1084 monitor and a GoDrive to easily load games from a USB drive. This set up helped us a lot when testing Roguecraft during development of the game.

Porting Roguecraft DX to the #mega65 was a dream but the first question was, how do we make it fit?!?
The Amiga version uses 32 colors for the whole screen but the MEGA65 can use 256 in the main palette, seems easy.
