I still have to pick up my copy of #PokemonLegendsZA today, my biggest "review" of it has been the absolute excitement & happiness my daughter has had since she got it yesterday. She's happy to play, excited for what she can do, loves how it looks, etc. That's honestly the biggest plus for me. :)

I do love playing on my Steam Deck...but even THAT can't play a number of Steam games...yet that gets a pass? Who honestly expected a PC handheld to play anything other than PC games? And while the ROG Ally X can't play console games, it can play a LOT more than a Steam Deck natively with Windows.

People losing it in reviews because the "Xbox ROG Ally X" can't play Xbox console games...while knowing this is a portable PC (which a PC ALSO can't just play console titles)...but they were cool with the PS Portal which can't even play things natively...yet tried to call it the new "PSP"? REALLY?

Just a few of the amazing pieces I remember so vividly growing up from the late Drew Struzan. The more you look into his work the more you realize how completely enveloped we all were with his art through the movies we love. Truly iconic & we'll be talking about his work some on this weeks show too.

Ok, I have the "House of Necrosis" demo downloaded onto my Steam Deck to give it a go during lunch. :) Probably end up talking about it on the show tomorrow too lol.

I shall check that out (brought my Steam Deck with me to work today conveniently). Another game with the "RE1" art style that I have ordered & waiting to play is "Crow Country". Though House of Necrosis REALLY pushed that RE feel it seems lol.

Which game is it? (Though damn it sure is trying to look like RE lol)

Thanks man. I'm worried about how her kids are going to have to deal with this. Her oldest had graduated high school a few years back but her youngest was just starting 9th grade. I know they are having an exceptionally hard time right now.

#Nintendo dropped this video out of the blue with no comment...just a baby dealing what feels like as "Invisible #Pikmin" that is interacting with the world. Curious if this is a teaser for a game or Kids Focused animation?

I have to say while the Steam Deck is weaker than others & is way more limited in what games it can play...if you already have a good Steam library it is a FANTASTIC option for many titles & it is the closest to a "console" feel other than a Switch or Switch 2 themselves. Valve did great there.

I have loved my Steam Deck but I get your concern on if you will use it as much given Switch 2 & other things. I have a Legion Go as well & I am hoping that with the upcoming Xbox Windows update it will become nicer to use while still giving access to WAY more PC stores, games, emulators, etc.

Wow, Microsoft & Xbox figured out a pretty effective way to layoff their own player base....

It's so effective it's scary.

We just need Nintendo to add to the news we already have about Microsoft, EA, & Sony to just finish the whole set.

Hell, I think I may just title this weeks show "Corporate Greed" & call it a day lol.

Microsoft's push to stop physically releasing their games while trying to get everyone used to GamePass was all a planned push for increasing the price after they have decimated the physical market for their players. They feel they can do it because players don't have a choice...hope they learn now!
