And tbh that's my main problem too, I have fun working in all sorts of styles but then it makes it hard to have consistency when making things to post and share xD

Hoping to finalize a portfolio in the next 2-3 months so I can start applying for jobs.

It's easy to be overly critical of my own work, when that's how I've learned to improve over the years. But now that I've found how I enjoy working I just want to make so much art now.

I know exactly what I'm wanting to work for with shape language and stylization, but sometimes I wonder if I'm improving in the right direction with the choices I make.

I actually dropped out of SCAD after two semesters and didn't draw for over a year after that. I still think that helped my hand recover where I'm lucky I don't have as many issues drawing now.

I used to draw the entire night in high school where I'd stop in the morning once my hand was numb thinking it was a badge of honor. Yeahhh, don't do that it was dumb as hell xD

I feel I may need to adjust these a bit further, but this also feels very good to me as a base. Then again, I have a habit of pressing down too hard when I'm drawing where I'm trying to get better at not death gripping my pencil xD

It's definitely taking a moment to get used to when I mostly use Photoshop/corel painter, but I'm rather impressed with it. Mostly needing to figure out more tools that are harder digital vs mimicking traditional, but looking forward to all the brushes people have made for CSP too xD

Thank you! This is just the mechanical pencil sketch brush that comes with CSP.
I'd have to get a screenshot later when I'm home, but I messed a bit with the pressure sensitivity for opacity so I can get darker lines without having to push as hard

Recently got a Wacom InkPad as a gift and really enjoying being able to draw on the go much easier. Still getting used to the pen, but looking forward to doing a lot more art

Sometimes I wonder if I should share more failed sketches. It's a lot of fun to have more finished pieces, but these still have a lot of value when problem solving or coming up with ideas
