Privacy invading and unlawful systems are prevalent in the tech industry which, in the long term, causes a decline of employees' mental health
Worse, employee monitoring software and creepware, I believe this whole line of business should be removed. It does not lead to a healthy work environment.

It is very disheartening, especially when someone (yes someone like me) realizes that there is a huge obligation involved in keeping me here so, that doesn't feel right, and nobody other than my parents should have to feel such an obligation ... It is not spoken, but I felt it...

There is a lot of stress generated because of this process, and there is a lot of "unspoken" pressure that is laid onto the teams hiring and training immigrants because of this, it got really bad towards the end of the last decade...

Unnecessary "processes and procedures" like these are not only unfair to me but also to my team and coworkers because someone needs to pick up the work when I'm off duty doing all of this instead...

There is something called a database 😂, plus nothing much really changed from May to October, other than the fact that we were drinking pumpkin spice instead of the regular coffee blend 😂

I was asked for immigration documents every three months or so in the form of Personal Information forms by the US govt, plus we needed to carry paper copies of every form we filled since the first entry into the US while travelling to or from the country except for domestic travel luckily...
