Patriotism in general is the stupidest thing ever. Cheering for a nation as if it's a team sport.

Instead imo, people should always demand more. Demand better. Nothing should be good enough. Patriotism can come when we reach an egalitarian society. Until then it serves no purpose.
Sucks that there's no way to seemingly block them either, they pop up like cockroaches. Suddenly a new 'artist' who has 5 albums, all released within 1 month of each other. Infuriating.
Man, being a new musician in 2025 must be awful.

I use YTM for my streaming music, and lately like 1 out of every 5 songs is some AI slop. It's gotten to the point that if I see 2024 or 2025 in the release date (and don't know the artist), I immediately become suspicious.
Really glad now that I didn't buy a Speed Queen and instead fixed up my circa ~1998 Sears Kenmore washer instead for like $75.

Bonus: The old style washer actually washes clothes and uses enough water / doesn't take 2 hours like those awful "High Efficiency" ones.
Some people just didn't pick it up.
(Pick it up, pick it up, pick it up)
Easily my favorite band. Looking forward to seeing them, myself!
I stopped buying Logitech mice and put them on my "never again" list after like 3 mice in a row that had the left mouse button fail (it stays clicked sometimes). Apparently a known flaw after they switched to cheap switches.

Razer mouse has been alright so far.
I've seen photos of at least 2 fursuiters in the crowd at past events, but I dunno where they were. Like I don't know how 'allowed' it is in Philly or NYC venues
As someone with pretty bad tinnitus, I feel this so much. SO often the background noise of the room (plus whatever I'm actually focused on) combined with "not expecting to be talked at" results in me hearing maybe 10-25% of what someone says.
I never put much thought into the disappearance of 'third places' before, but I had a sudden realization the other day that there's really nowhere to go anymore for the classic 'bar' experience (eg: not Applebees), nor is there anymore 'neighborhood hangout' sort of joints, and it sucks.
There's like 3 people in my area with this shit (one is a bike) and it's infuriating. Sounds like being front seat at a drag race every day at 10pm, even in a cinder block house.

This should be illegal (disturbing the peace), and I agree, the people doing it are simply antisocial, awful assholes.
I deal with this like 2 times a week lately. Or Outlook or another app just randomly crashing out of nowhere. It's gotten *bad*.
Likely. I've never seen it, but I don't pay for premium. Doesn't really *bother* me, I just never pay attention when someone uses them =P
I really wish Telegram had a speech to text thing for voice messages, because I swear I will never actually click on one of those things, ever.

I'm almost never in a position where I want to hear a random person speaking who knows what, out of my phone speaker
Minor gripe but *man* can US restaurants knock it off with trying to cram "hot honey" into everything? It's the early 2000's bacon fad all over again.

I like the stuff, but we don't need everything to taste like honey and cheap hot sauce.
Cartegena is honestly a pretty good follow up to encoder imo, same vibe! Unfortunately they did a lot more tracks similar to "Self vs Self" which was never my favorite.
That said I'm glad to have some new bangers to listen to, regardless of what I think about the other songs.

I just loathe anything with screamo vocals, it kind of ruins the melody of any song they're in imo. Sorta... Angsty teen music vibes. Hopefully this is just another phase for them.
Listened to the new Pendulum album all the way through. Mixed bag, but mostly ok (mostly due to the fire EP's they threw on the album)

Best: Archangel, Driver, Colourfast.

Unlistenable: Halo, Cannibal, Mercy Killing, especially Save the Cat.

Best when they stick to dnb+rock. Bad with screamo emo.
The first episode is pretty abysmal. Nothing made sense. We really are to believe that Hank randomly quit Strickland to live in SA? And that they had no news or current technology while there? It's not a desert island... Aside from being completely out of character.
I actually never minded the late (og) seasons tbh! The main reason this feels so different I think, is that the dynamic of the show is completely changed.

It's not really about kids growing up in conservative America (and wacky hijinks) anymore. Everyone is grown up, it's a more serious tone.
Yeah, I'd say so! First episode was pretty rough, but gets progressively better. I dont think it will ever be my favorite season of the show, not even close, but compared to the Futurama reboot it's got a lot more 'heart' in it.
Ok, having watched a BUNCH more of them during downtime at work, it's not too bad. I still think something is missing / feels "off" (aside from some of the voices), and the tone is WAY more serious than ever before, but it's enjoyable for the most part.

I kinda like seeing Bobby as a chef!
