At school it was always the Mortal Kombat kids Vs the Street Fighter kids. As the only Nintendo kid I had to put up with the SNES version of MK1.

I was obsessed with both series though. "Toasty" became part of our friend group lexicon to describe pretty much anything.

My favourite podcast "Last Podcast on the Left" is currently two parts into a series on Heinrich Himmler.

There are a staggering number of things brought up in that series that sound uncomfortably similar to what the current US government is doing.

It's undeniable now.

I can't upgrade my laptop to Windows 11 due to the CPU not being compatible.

I really need a new PC but can't afford it.

Yes I've signed up for extended support but that's not going to last long.

I wish we weren't so dependent on Windows these days. Win 11 is pretty awful.

I finally finished Death Stranding 2.

Definitely my Game of the Year. Most likely one of the greatest games ever made. In a world of knackered AAA games that are mostly derivatives of each other, DS is in a league of its own. It's like nothing else.

I will defend Bubsy forever. Bubsy became a meme because of 3D but Bubsy 1 is a very solid, fun platformer.
