I brought my car into the shop for some maintenance today so I decided to try out a new (to me) audio book. I'm really enjoying Josh Reynolds' Dark Harvest. It's perfect for spooky season. Also, it has Sylvaneth in it.

If we're sharing couples art I absolutely have to share my favourite commission ever, this wedding cake topper. Commissioned by the bride it depicts her and her groom as 40k characters. Kitbashed sculpted and repositioned, I even got them to hold hands. I would LOVE to do another. 😍
The bride was based on Greyfax with an AoS veiled head. The groom is based on a Death Guard. Tuxedo Death Guard is so good and makes me want a whole army like that. 😂 His arm that's holding her hand was three different pieces I think, with the hand coming from a Blight King. His hat was Greyfax's, with some sculpting on top to make it a top hat. The emojis on the banner cover the couple's name and the date which I freehanded on. I think I'd do the writing with waterslide transfers in the future, it would just look more professional because I write like a child. 🙂

It’s been a couple of years since I posted my Halloween hobbit feets tutorial.

Ultimately it’s just men’s socks (as close as you can find to your kid’s skin tone) pulled over crocs and painted. I glued soles to the pair shown but you don’t have to.
My adorable child when he was still adorable dressed as Bilbo Baggins for Halloween about twelve(?) years ago. He’s wearing a bunch of hobbit style clothes sources from value village (including a burgundy suede jacket that he wore for years afterward) and a pair of realistic looking hobbit feets. A pair of children’s crocs with men’s socks pulled over them. I’d also cut out and glued thin soles to them. Same as previous photo but with toes drawn on in sharpie. Same as previous photo but now they’ve been painted with acrylics (also shown) to resemble actual human (hobbit) feets.

Thing is, it's already against the law for him to do this. Congress passed the law back in the 1860's when they tried to put President Grant on a 15 cent note. A President or individual would have to have been deceased for at least 2 years before they can be on legal tender.
