In the past I would've said JEZEBEL was my favorite Davis film but PRIVATE LIVES OF ELIZABETH AND ESSEX (especially the ending) stood out more this viewing. Regardless, Warner Archive's BETTE DAVIS COLLECTION is the ideal Davis primer. FULL REVIEW: comicon.com/2026/01/06/r...
