The sun is a small and dying distant yellow scribble. On the bottom: close up green-gray churning river water, peaked by foam that is just a hint yellow, a little dirtier of a river perhaps than one might like. Though the image may stand alone, the origin of the piece is actually the brooding personality of teen delinquent Onion Pendergrass. He is the main protagonist of the graphic novel, Blue Hollow, and if these drawings suggest any deeper meaning, it is only that he has a melancholy disposition at the beginning of the story.

To keep myself sane lately I've been plugging away on this and FINALLY finished it. I worked on it very sporadically but the first sketch is about 7 years old!
