It was a cool Sunday run - actually, temperature-wise it was alright, but it felt like a nice time outside.

First part was helping out my wife being a backmarker for her 5K Garmin plan finale - she ended up with a solid result, happy!

After that it was just following my DSW.

10 hours of playing System Shock (Remake).

Sometimes I feel lost while exploring the Citadel Station, made like a maze to screw with people. You're squishy, resources are finite, so you need to be smart.

Just fought my first "boss fight".

Loving it so far. Hope I finish it.

Woke up quite early, went for the usual base in the park. Garmin added 4 extra minutes, I still kept the HR low.

Is it slowly changing? Am I slowly improving?

Did some exercises yesterday that are new to me - I definitely am aware of some muscles that I had no idea existed before 😅

But the running goes on and today the main course was 16 minutes of 10K effort. Felt good, but legs were a bit heavy.

Did some sprints today, but Garmin decided to put it into the Base category - won't complain much, because I'm lacking in that 😅

Still, was nice to obtain ludicrous speed for a fraction of the time - makes me wonder what would my best mile be now...

Petzl Actik Core 450 - don't use it for running much, but I take it with me when going outside and some areas are dark. Works like a charm.

Not sure if this model is still made, they might've updated it with more lumens.

Warm morning run, 30 minutes of base effort. Was happy there was no rain, the MSN weather radar worked well (while the BBC was fear-mongering a bit).

Any good weather related sites anyone checks when considering going out? For me it's the BBC/MSN combo.

Started playing System Shock (2023 remake) and I'm enjoying it so far.

It's crazy how the cyberpunk is just oozing from the levels, music, sounds... very impressed with what @nightdivestudios.bsky.social have cooked up.

Looked up original gameplay and man, wouldn't be able to play that 😅

That's a wrap on my long run.

Had a proper breakfast a bit late and I felt it while being outside. Don't worry - haven't barfed, just burped a bit. Should've made that porridge straight after waking up. Lessons learned!

A squirrel cut my path on the Loop Line. Unexpected.

BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.
