... send their salespeople to wine and dine executives, and sure maybe some docs also, but generally speaking they are selling to the people with the big pocketbooks at the top. Who are not always aligned with the needs/wants/problems of the providers.

Health care (via hospitals, medical groups) is vexing because the providers - the people *actually providing the care*, like doctors, nurses, PAs, MAs - rarely have decision making power unless it's some kind of physician-owned partnership for example (which does exist.) So tech companies...
