Girls final Saturday will be a rematch of the USTA Winter Nationals 18s final, with Chukwumelije Clarke[6] facing Carrie-Ann Hoo[5]. Clarke beat top seed Annika Penickova 64, 60; Hoo defeated No. 11 seed Maggie Sohns 75, 61 in today's semis.

Barely 2 years ago Maya Joint swept the ITF Pan American Closed J300 titles here in Spring Texas. Now No. 35 in the WTA rankings, Joint(now repping Australia) came back from 6-1, 5-3 to beat Tyra Grant(now repping Italy) in the final. #tbt My coverage:
