Lubbock, Texas - 1994 grad, Sr year we read Crime and Punishment, Moby Dick, Light in August as some of our longer selections..we also read The Tao and the Upanishads ...my daughter is a Jr; her longest book likely Their Eyes Were Watching God. - PS - I truly miss my Ms Duncan.. amazing teacher.

Thursdays are the days I am most likely to trapse over across the street to the Museum. Todays new exhibit, Parasols.
Museum exhibit with parasols from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Most are black or taupe, but one pink one is in the middle. Also pictured are some glass display cases containing beaded handbags and dresses.
