I've NEVER clicked into one of them a single time, and repeatedly ask it to show me "Fewer stories like this".

The USA has just dropped to 28th, its lowest position ever, in Transparency International's corruption index.
With a score of just 64 out of a possible 100, the USA is seen as much more corrupt than nearly all other developed countries.

My sincere belief is that a sustained general strike is the only peaceful way we will make real change in this country.
I found myself hoping I would wake up one day, see that a line had been crossed, and a strike would just happen spontaneously.

This is not surprising at all and entirely predictable. Red lines have already been crossed. We each need to think about what we can individually do to hold people in power accountable instead of just rushing from outrage to outrage mostly as witness.
