Obviously I knew the environment in Britain was bad and I'm doing one of the wokest jobs possible in one of the wokest cities in India but I'm finding it easier to be gender non-conforming in Kochi than like London. Here no one gives a shit, no one looks at you like you are a subversive agent.

it's already the new year but my favourite game i played in 2025 was the hundred line last defence academy (new) and final fantasy 11 (old). my favourite books were yu miri's the end of august (novel) and karatani kojin's the end of modern literature (non-fiction), i didn't watch a lot of films but

I think the UK rejoining Erasmus is bad because the Turing Scheme was actually really good, I got pretty much my entire living costs and then some funded while I was in Japan. For as much as Brexit is a bad decision people forget that the EU is a eurocentric cultural chauvinist protection racket

Obviously, much to be said and debated about the Communist Party of India (Marxist)'s neoliberal macro-turn, but you get to Kerala and the fact that you can get a decent meal at a seaside table at a restaurant run by the state and staffed by a women's empowerment co-operative is mindblowing

I was craving mazesoba which I haven't had since I returned from Nagoya so I went to this place in London called monohon. It wasn't as good, and three times as expensive, as my ex-regular haunt Menya Kabuki just outside Yagoto subway station, but it was still good enough.
