A question: does she sail a full circle after passing Estlink 2? You call it "adjust anchor". On the chart it looks as if she went around one full circle. That's Import as it destroys the narrative of the innocent crew that never realised they had dropped anchor.

with 130,000 tons of Russian fuel oil is sinking in a port in the Leningrad region of Russia. Preliminary, several explosions occurred in the tanker's engine room, after which the vessel began to fill with water.

The water depth should be a factor too: the amount of chain that touches the ocean floor and plows through it before the anchor touches the cable should influence the result. As does the speed of the ship. Eagle S chain weighs 100kg per meter.

Ok. I personally find it hard to believe, however: we learn from this case to not jump to easy conclusions.
Prosecuter has spoken. Worked independently. In dubeo pro reo.

Reaction to seize ship was swift. Showed determination. This might have a deterrent effect.

The anchor of VEZHEN was locked with only one of three brake mechanisms. This part (a manually handled one) broke and there is CCTV showing no-one was there.

This is the proof it is not a sabotage.

I agree. Its been a while since I actively sailed on ships but i asked all of my colleagues, all of them Captains of various types of vessels no one can remember a case where this happened.
Whenever an anchor broke a cable, this was in the process of a deliberate anchoring.
They would all agree: 0
