Its gotta simultaneously lean into AND subvert tropes. Guy disappears in act 1 to "get help?" Comes in at act 3 with the cops,uno reversing who has to hide. Two teens snogging in the closet only to have the door opened and they scream? It's one of the responsible characters that scolds them.

You're actually SO wrong, it gives +1 point of resistance towards targeted attacks at the groin. (Ignore the fact that due to sloppy coding the character can take this regardless of what genitals they have.)

I feel the same way, I have not "always been" enby, and I don't wish I "always was" either. To me that would change who I am now, as the events experienced in the past are influenced by the fact that I was a "boy" and people treated me as such, for better or worse. I would not be ME without that.
