If you look into the objective lens (obviously with the machine off) you'll probably see what we'd call "Smokie Eye" where the lens has a green tinge rather than the blue. I've seen them where all the glossy coating is gone. You can clean the top of the lens but the underside is harder.

One thing. Looking at the diagram. There's no right mouse button and no 5v power to power an ST mouse or a joystick that needs 5v

The RP2040 is amazing. You can make some really low latency thing to other thing converters with it.

I'd be looking around the tuning caps to do with the horizontal defection. Also the filter caps responsible for providing the high voltage for the video drive. Scope it with a x100 probe.

Well done that man. When you replace it install proxmox. It can do hourly snapshots. And you can install your web services as ether containers or full VMs.

This with an AliExpress wide angle 120 degrees so say Zero Distortion lens. It is better but not perfect. But it kindof makes my LCD scope screen look CRT like. I quite like it.

So I've been playing with one of those "Hang over your screen and be in the middle" Webcams. I thought it would make a good scope-cam. But look at that distortion.
