I was shocked! We haven’t seen a lot of Gavilar, and idk I guess I assumed he was the “good guy gone too soon” before reading that prologue. I’m hoping there’s some sort of explanation/backstory, because Navani choosing Gavilar over Dalinar is just because he’d be king is not adding up for me
