Since im not really counting the vampire extinguishers faction as part of them, they have that special powers to defeat vamps. I think it would be nice to have the human faction masters the smarts and strategies that made them ruled over the vampires for so long. Humans are social creatures while

There must be something the human faction has other than their large number, large number itself isnt really a threat as the vampires if they have that much power can benefit greatly from that and use them as livestocks like in owari no seraph. And it would be nice to have a neutral human faction

But now that you mentioned how vampire are much stronger, we don't really get to see the human faction does anything outside of the ones that are helping Heizou (like sara, itto gang, and the doctors). If vampires were that strong as you said them to be, why are they in hiding again? 😭

Yeah i understand the point youre trying to go with Kazuha, and tbh kazuha doesnt really have to be a vampire to show his character as you do nailed it well on Kazuha using his humanity to keep Heizou sane, i think its very sweet and you should deffo develop that part of him more heh 🥺🥺

at using Kazuha's sixth senses to its advantage for the plot and that made Kazuha plays such an active role, I really love it. ...yeah that is how bad Kazuha is being represented in heikazu fics that i resort to a yandere fic as an example sobs

a good example of Kazuha standing by himself is Fresh Blossom of Springs by Rengiyuu, like Kazuha personally clears out Heizou's cases so he would stop avoiding the guy. Another example is oddly a yandere fic out of all places, You're That Irresistable by aleemaleewah. that fic did such a GREAT job

btw I havent read the natlan arc, but before that, Kazuha really never does things on his own like he would do canonically (his ahh roped beidou and her crew to fight in a war with him lmao). So I do really expecting Kazuha to do something on his own and be active, not relying on heizou much qwq

So youre telling me, this guy who blocked the musou no hitotachi, who willingly participates in a war for his own cause and has slained officers when he flee inazuma, got reduced to this passive character just because he's kind hearted? I find it hard to believe but they often write him like this

I do wish you develop Kazuha more though, since most of the heikazu fics I read that you wrote have Kazuha serves Heizou. He doesn't feel like he has his own integrity. And I think a lot of heikazu writers do fall in making Kazuha be this soft boy that would never hurt a fly and i sighed

and if we're speaking about the detective vampire genre, dude you are on the top I am glazing you regarding the mystery. Ayzachan's is very action oriented more than anything else, it felt like a shonen story. there is Pruewinkle's one uh, I dont see much progress yet and it's heavy on psychology.

Wax Wings by FUHIME, but it falls into the trap of making the mystery serves to the romance plot, so you don't really see much interaction of heizou to the actual mystery (i mean he does, but not really progressing at all and he only got terror as the conclusion, its not very satisfying to read).

and the whole skewing people like a fish as the murder method is really interesting but the author completely butchered the romance that made me consider dropping it several times but the mystery is just too good, I want to know the culprit behind all of it. The other fic I could think of is

but you really solidifies both the mystery and romance parts, making those 2 big plot actually works together which is quite hard to achieve I reckon, not many heikazu fics that i've read can acomplish that. Like on one scene in your detective vamp au where Kazuha got kidnapped, bro I was so blown

And Lostin you somehow made the romance part and mystery just works well together like a very fine dining dish on a luxury hotel, I am forever your biggest glazer now HAHAHAH 😋 the majority of heikazu fics only use the mystery as a setting for their romance and it just really shows in the writings.
