My friend Tom wrote an article on operating system decline and cultural death. While I share his opinion and frustration, I also believe GenAI will give kids a new way to create, becoming their entry point to technology, much like computers were in the 90s and 00s.

I don't think I have ever seen a non social app become as "casually ubiquitous" as ChatGTP. I constantly spot people interacting with it in queues, in restaurants, in coffee places, in busses. It's wild.
